Circle Facilitator Course Partnership Agreement

Course Participants

In order to submit your agreement, you must indicate the individuals participating in the course.

If you wish to include more than 3 participants, please list those below. An additional fee of $2,500 per person will be added to your invoice for each additional participant listed here.

Space & Schedule Requirements

I understand that the Circle Facilitator Course requires participants to facilitate a regularly scheduled Compass Circle practice throughout the 2025-26 school year with a consistent group of participants that meets up to once per week, for a minimum of 18 occurrences. I also understand that the first circle must occur within the first 6 weeks of the school year. 


The group participants must be either a group of at least 6, but no more than 30 faculty members, or a group of at least 6 but no more than 30 students. 


  • For grades K-2, students will spend a minimum of 30 minutes per Circle.

  • For grades 3-4, students will spend a minimum of 45 minutes per Circle.

  • For grades 5-12, students will spend a minimum of 45 minutes per Circle.

  • For adult faculty and staff members, faculty will spend a minimum of 45 minutes per Circle.


I hereby agree to provide adequate space and scheduled time for each participant to facilitate a minimum of 18 Compass Circles during the school year. 


I hereby agree that all faculty and/or students selected will participate in all scheduled Compass Circles, unless otherwise excused per established school criteria for absences from academic instruction.

Attendance Commitments

I understand that the Partner School may select a team of up to three faculty members to attend training and receive the Certified Compass Circle Facilitator credential. I also understand that participation in the Circle Facilitator Course requires mandatory in-person training sessions for all participating team members at The Compass Center in Nashville, TN, each lasting up to 4 weekdays, as well as 10 monthly virtual training sessions, each lasting up to 90 minutes. Participants will be allowed only 1 excused absence in order to earn their certification, and they agree to notify their assigned Leadership Coach 24 hours in advance in order for such absence to be excused.


I hereby agree that the selected team of (up to) three (3) faculty members selected by the principal will attend all mandatory training, and that the Partner School will support participants by making necessary arrangements and provide adequate coverage for the participants' absences.

Financial Commitments

I understand that the cost to the Partner School for participation in the Circle Facilitator Course is an investment of $15,000 due prior to the onset of the training course. I also understand that I may select up to 3 additional participants, limiting total participation to 6 per school. Additional participants will incur a fee of $2,500 per person. 


To secure services for the partnership, a non-refundable deposit of $1,500  is due upon the signing of this agreement.  Failure to pay the required deposit within 30 days of receipt of this agreement will result in the termination of this agreement.  


The remaining funds for annual payment for the Circle Facilitator Course will be due in full to Valor Collegiate Academies by July 31 of each year. 


If the Partner School withdraws from the Circle Facilitator Course in the midst of their partnership term, Circle Facilitator Course payments are non-refundable unless Valor Collegiate Academies does not uphold the agreements herein. 


Payments made after July 31 will receive a $500 late fee per month unpaid. In the event that payment is delinquent by October 31, services provided by Valor shall be discontinued. Discontinued services include access to training events, coaching and training support, and the use of Valor’s copyrighted materials.


I understand that the Partnership Agreement herein is an official acceptance of the Partner School’s participation in the Circle Facilitator Course, which lasts for a period of one year unless otherwise amended.


I understand that Partner School will cover all other travel and school-based expenses related to participating in the Circle Facilitator Cohort, including travel expenses (airfare, hotels, food) for all trainings.

Termination of Partnership Agreement

The Partner School and Valor may move to terminate the Partnership Agreement if either party is not upholding the commitments herein. To terminate the Partnership Agreement, Partner School Leader is required to provide a termination request via email 30 days prior to the invoice due date in order to rescind the invoice and nullify any payment agreement. 


Partner School termination requests must be addressed the Partner School’s assigned Valor Leadership Coach, and Taryn Hill Sprayberry, Director of Partnerships. (tsprayberry@valorcollegiate.org)


If a termination request is not received by May 30, 2025, the invoice must be paid in full.

This agreement is effective upon signing.

Upon submission of this form, you will receive an invoice for a deposit of $1,500. Payment is required by May 2, 2025 to secure your seats in the course.
